Thomas Sutton: Healthcare Design Advice From Frog
  • Description

At frog we understand the scale and complexity of this challenge, and we seek to design for three core concerns: to provide a better patient experience than most of us receive today, to provide more value at significantly lower costs, and to ensure better clinical outcomes for patients in care.

With each concern we place the patient at the center. Designing around a unique individual, with both emotional and practical needs, is a skill frog has evolved and championed throughout our 43-year history. We know how to navigate between the intricate and the complex without losing sight of the patient at the center, and we teach our clients to do the same -- whether we are reimagining the collective experience across large provider environments, devising future connected solutions for care team ecosystems, or creating unique mHealth solutions and point of care medical devices.

We are not waiting for problems to solve. Our focus on global social impact includes the design of a toolkit to empower and activate community health workers and a prototype for a comprehensive solution to improve neo-natal care in the developing world. We are exploring how we might all age better, more comfortably, and with more connection through our Aging By Design initiative. We make our ideas real now because the need is immediate.

We are passionate about the experience of care and we look forward to a future that harnesses technology, makes data more meaningful, and empowers the industry to work better for everyone. As the global healthcare system evolves to provide more personalized, efficient, and effective care, frog will continue to design and deliver health and wellness products and services that advance the human experience.
